What’s waiting for you
We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Lead (EL) who believes that great software starts with great people. In this role, EL will own and drive the technical direction of our systems and engineering organization. You’ll be responsible for system/software architecture, infrastructure & DevOps, security, SDLC governance, database architecture, and the adoption of modern technologies including AI-assisted development and advanced testing frameworks.

What are your responsibilities:
Software development process
o Collaborate with other roles to define the development process and ensure everyone apply it.
o Define the expectations of the development process and collaborate with others to provide the documentation.
o Define and organize training program for the development.
Software Architecture (Leadership & Governance)
o Lead and manage the Technology team (including software architect, infrastructure, and quality control), works closely together with the Lead Development & Cloud Platform.
o Own the overall systems and software architecture across Products, Projects and Services.
o Establish architecture governance frameworks, including standards, guidelines, and decision-making processes.
o Define and enforce architecture constraints, visions, principles, reference architectures, design principles, and best practices...
o Own and drive Architecture Review Boards (ARB) and design review processes.
o Ensure architectural consistency while enabling teams to innovate safely.
o Drive architectural alignment across products, platforms, and domains.
Infrastructure, DevOps and tools
o Define and own infrastructure and platform architecture standards (cloud, networking, computer, storage).
o Set organizational standards for DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies.
o Define approved tooling and platforms for build, test, release, monitoring, and observability
o Ensure infrastructure and DevOps practices support scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
o Define the standard and overview to ensure your team members can establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and environment management.
Security of the end-to-end SDLC
o Own system security architecture and engineering security best practices.
o Define the standard and guide members to ensure secure design, implementation, and operation (authentication, authorization, encryption, secrets management, …)
o Collaborate with security teams to manage vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and incident response
o Establish processes for threat modeling, secure coding, vulnerability management, and audits.
o Promote security-by-design and compliance awareness.
Database Architecture
o Lead and govern database and data architecture across systems.
o Guide teams in selecting appropriate database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, distributed systems).
o Define standards for data modeling, consistency, scalability, performance, and resilience.
o Establish governance for data migration, schema evolution, backup, and disaster recovery.
o Ensure data architecture aligns with business growth and long-term platform strategy.
AI for SDLC
o Define strategy and standards for applying AI technologies within the SDLC.
o Guide adoption of AI-assisted tools for coding, testing, code review, documentation, and productivity.
o Establish governance and best practices for responsible, secure, and effective use of AI in engineering workflows.
o Measure and improve engineering efficiency and quality through AI-enabled workflows.
o Evaluate and integrate AI solutions to improve developer productivity and code quality.
Leadership & People Management
o Maintain and actively contribute to the mesoneer technology radar.
o Lead, mentor, and grow engineers across multiple teams.
o Plan and allocate project resources effectively to meet delivery goals.
o Drive and evaluate the performance appraisal process for team members, ensuring fairness and growth orientation.
o Support recruitment activities and participate in the selection of new engineers.
o Support career development, performance management, and technical growth.
o Provide technical input and support for pre-sales activities and upcoming projects.
o Effectively self-manage time, priorities, and workload in a fast-paced environment.
o Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
o Collaborate closely with other Engineering Leads and key business stakeholders.
Your skills
Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in leading software architect role.
Strong knowledge of software architecture, system design, application integration, distributed systems and modern development practices.
Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar).
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development
Experience with AI technologies and development using AI coding agents.
Experienced in the end-to-end SDLC.
Familiar with software quality metrics and how to improve them
Good understanding of software security, scalability, and performance optimization.
Proven ability to mentor, coach, and develop engineering teams.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills and fluent in English
Curious and questioning mindset
Ability to balance technical depth with business needs and project constraints.
8 years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
