What’s waiting for you
Administration, maintenance, and monitoring of our Web Application Firewall (WAF) to ensure application security
Responsibility for the deployment and release process of our applications, including planning, coordination, and execution
Implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the application monitoring stack (e.g., Grafana, Loki, CheckMK)
Certificate management, including renewal and expiration monitoring
Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for our private cloud provider regarding technical issues to ensure the stability and performance of our applications
Supporting changes and enhancements to the application infrastructure and platform (e.g., data pipelines between private and public clouds)
General monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting to ensure the performance, stability, and security of our applications in cloud and container environments
Planning, managing, and optimizing infrastructure resources to support scalability and growth
Proactively shaping operational processes and improving OPS processes (e.g., through deployment automation)
Your skills
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
Several years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, AppOps Engineer, or in application infrastructure management
Practical experience in WAF management (must-have), ideally with FortiWeb
In-depth knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, and other container technologies
Solid experience with application monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana or CheckMK)
Familiarity with deployment and automation tools (e.g., Helm, Kustomize)
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team, including coordination with cloud and infrastructure partners
Fluent written and spoken German and English
